By inviting, accessing, or using the Miwa Discord bot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any third-party terms governed by Groq, Inc. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Outer Circle Labs ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Miwa is a Discord bot that automatically transcribes voice notes and audio attachments into text. The Service also supports manual transcription via the !transcribe command and translation via the !translate command. Transcription and translation are powered by AI models hosted by Groq, Inc.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must not:
Audio file sizes are hard-capped at 25 MB per transmission due to upstream constraints from the Groq API. Files exceeding this limit will be rejected. We may impose additional rate limits to maintain service quality across all users.
You retain ownership of any audio content you submit. We claim no ownership over your audio data or the resulting transcriptions. The Miwa bot, its source code, name, logo, and branding are the intellectual property of Outer Circle Labs and are protected under applicable laws.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, including but not limited to:
Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices, uptime, or data handling of third-party services.
The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Outer Circle Labs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profit.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason — including but not limited to violation of these Terms or Discord's policies. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
